*Larger groups may also stay additional nights to allow for groups of 2-3 per day
** Mushing is a physical sport. You must be able to comfortably walk 5 miles and lift 40 lbs. Other tour options available under "Other Options" tab.
*Must be 18 yrs or older to mush your own sled.
What to Expect
Learn to mush your own 4-dog team of Alaskan Huskies.
After supplementing your winter clothing with our winter proven gear, we will head out to introduce you to the dogs! Brief instructions on sled driving and how to harness your team will have you ready to hit the trails. The Alaskan wilds are at your fingertips as you glide on your own set of runners with your exceptional canine companions. Groups of 2 or more will have the opportunity to both mush your own sled and relax inside the sled of your highly experienced guide. Half way through we will stop to warm up in an Alaskan Hot Tent with snacks and a warm drink in your hands. We will arrive back at your cozy cabin with plenty of time for relaxation and story telling before the night is yours for a soak at Chena Hot Springs Resort, a dinner in town or a night in around your crackling wood stove.
